The Courageous Mothers Community is a new blog and community for bereaved mothers (and fathers) to share their stories and find love and support. This site is founded by a loss mom (me, Joli), and meant to be a place for me and all of us to enjoy being together, when our grief feels so isolating.

I lost my firstborn, Jonah, to a heart defect in January of 2017. He was stillborn at 30 weeks.

After my loss, I went looking for something like this on the internet and, when I didn’t find the exact thing I was looking for, I decided to make it myself.

It’s my hope that this community grows quickly into a beautiful, supportive place for all of us to grieve, love, and come together.
